Intellectual Property Legal Intern
Allison Daniels is the Intellectual Property Legal Intern in the Office of Innovation and Commercialization at West Virginia University. In this role, she assists with patent prosecution, prior art research, invention evaluations, and licensing activities to help protect, commercialize, and transfer innovative technologies developed at WVU.
Allison is a third-year law student at the West Virginia University College of Law and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University. She is passionate about working at the intersection of engineering, innovation, and the law, and plans to pursue a career as a registered patent attorney, helping inventors protect their ideas.
